The infinity pool was fine. The mandatory fees were frustrating.

The hotel is in front of beach and shopping center.
I am a frequent traveller. But it was my first stay at Marriott. I didn't like this hotel in every way. First of fall, they charge $25+tax per day for internet and parking, even when you don't use internet and parking. And the staffs were not kind, and most of the staffs don't smile even, and I thought most of them were unhappy. The maids kept knocked our door within 1 hour, even when we said we were in. We felt like being pushed to go out for the maid. I decide not to stay any Marriot hotels. Never.

Delicious food selection on complimentary full breakfast. Impeccably clean and huge rooms with modern interior design. Great and beautiful location, 10 minutes' walk to A-Bay.

The location, very clean hotel. Also we stayed there Christmas day and the buffet dinner was excellent.
The extra 'resort fee' and no breakfest included....It was quite expensive per night these costs should have being included.

Excellent staff! Good location in Waikoloa, pools and beach are wonderful and you are not far from other Kohala coast beaches that are spectacular.
Needs a bit of a deep clean, the carpets are quite worn and dirty throughout the hotel. This did not spoil my stay by any means, but the Marriott should invest in a good carpet cleaning system!

Small hotel in a beach area near to the local Island Gourmet market as well as which has restaurants. Spotlessly clean and huge rooms with a balcony view of a tree, reasonable prices. Marvellous location - just walking distance from Ocean Sports. Excellent food in the outdoor restaurant in the vicinity.

can recommend for a mini-vacation
Beautiful resort, comfortable room, with a pleasant start to the day at the breakfast to-go place and easy access to the beach for some fantastic snorkeling.
The resort atmosphere didn't feel authentic to Hawaii.

We loved spending time by the pool, especially the children's pool with the sandy bottom! The nearby shops and activities made it convenient to explore water sports and discover local cuisine. The hotel also offered a fantastic Sunset Luau which entertained the kids and us alike.
My wife says that the check-in process was frustrating and slow. They mixed up our rooms. I'd suggest improving room assignments for families, as we'd hoped to have adjacent rooms.

The marriott had fine views, especially from our balcony in the resort room. The grounds are well maintained with relaxing areas by the fishponds. The pools are amazing. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful in planning our stay.

We had a blast enjoying the gorgeous pools and chilling at the beach during our 4-night stay. The relaxing jacuzzi and outdoor pool were perfect spots to unwind after a long day of exploring. My only complaint is that the check-in process could use some improvement, but overall, it was a fantastic getaway 🌴

The room was fab with a gorgeous balcony, and I made friends with the beach turtles-real charmers!
But, honestly, getting help was like playing a game of hide and seek with the staff-very challenging and quite the workout!

Staying here was a pleasant experience overall. The infinity pool and the nearby beach offered stunning views that made for relaxing days. I appreciated the cultural activities available, which added to the experience. The dining options were limited as most places closed by 9 PM, making it hard to find late-night meals. The resort added fees for amenities that might otherwise be included in other hotels.
